Following the instructions on the front panel of the printer will be the easiest way to use this feature.
- On the front panel, touch Copy tab., then choose option for your document.
- Select the number of copies (1 to 99).
- Select the copy quality option: Best, Normal, Fast.
- Touch Copy. At the prompt, load the original document and be sure to center on the orange arrow.
- Push the sheet into the insertion slot until you feel it contact the rollers. The scanner will automatically grab the sheet and move it into position for scanning. Documents can be scanned from 6″ to 36″ wide.
Important: There is a one-time setup required to use this feature. This setting change will automatically scale the document to the loaded paper type. If this step is not performed, the print will be the exact same size as the scanned document.
- Select Copy then touch an option for your copy.
- At the bottom of the screen, touch the gear icon, then scroll down and touch Resize.
- Select Fit To and choose Loaded Paper.
- Scroll to Save Current Settings, then at the prompt, select Save, then OK.
