End-of-Year Lesson Idea – Classroom Paper Chain

Distribute “chain links” to students for them to write their hopes and goals for the upcoming summer months, connect the chain, and each day leading to the end of the year, remove a link and invite the author to present their link to the rest of the class. Encourage question-asking, group discussion, and drawing around these activities – to keep students engaged up to the very last day of school.
