Exploring Multiple Intelligences in the Classroom and Choosing Your Pathway to Learning

More and more educators are recognizing the value of student-centric instruction— moving away from teaching isolated segments of knowledge that focus on academic skills and competencies, and turning towards teaching models that weave together subjects and skills to solve real-world problems in meaningful ways.

Since the early 1990s when Howard Garner introduced the theory of Multiple Intelligences, educators have come to understand that MI is not about which one fits each student best, but rather how the brain learns as a theory of cognition wherein each of us has capacities in all eight intelligences.

This webinar features Dr. Melissa Hughes and Carman Le, MAT, exploring the multiple intelligences and providing teaching strategies for each that can be easily implemented in any classroom.
